[The feed turns on to show a…really confused blond. It’s not like being in a weird place is that strange for him – but just unexpected after everything that had happened.]

…So I guess I have a few questions.

One, where am I? [He looks around, as if waiting for things to make sense. But it doesn’t.] Two, what’s this thing? [And the feed points down to a grinning Aipom, the mischievous face taking up most of the screen.]

Three…where did my tail go?

[It was kind of disorienting, moving without a tail.]

I mean, it doesn’t seem that bad. But uh…this isn’t really what I was expecting either. Anyway, If anyone has any answers, I’d be happy to hear them. If I got this communication thing, that means there’s gotta be someone out there, right?

[Zidane shakes his head after a moment, and smiles into the feed.]

I never knew you had a tail...

It's kinda hard to miss, but--

[Wait. He squints.]

--obviously you're missing it here. Do I...know you?

[Right, he forgot to consider what happens when people are gone for a good, long time. Blame the tail-talk]

[Yes, tail-talk would probably be pretty distracting for people who aren't used to it.]

Gosh, think it's been months now. Kuja said you went back home, so you've probably forgotten all about it.

It's something about how this world works. Now and then, somebody'll remember when they come back, but it's pretty rare.

He did, I remember it made me think of somebody I knew. I got the feeling it wasn't something he was used to saying.

We...usually don't get along. [As in, they end up fighting almost every time they speak -- aside from the last time he saw Kuja...] But he's coming around, from what it sounds like!

Yep, they can do all sorts of things.

It did sound like it was sorta complicaed. I don't know him especially well, we actually met when he let everybody know you were gone, but...I hope you guys can get along better.

Sounds like I got a lot of stuff to get the hang of, then.

It'd be nice. But I'll bring him around eventually.
